Hastings Campus Site Lighting Replacement
Dakota County will receive single prime sealed bids for the bid package for the replacement of light fixtures located at the Dakota County Hastings Campus Facilities until 11:00 am local time on Thursday July 26th at the office of Facilities Management, Dakota County Administration Center, 1590 Highway 55, Hastings, Minnesota, 55033 at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Pre-bid conference and tour will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday July 19th, 2012 at the site. Representatives of the Owner and Architect will be present.
Bidding documents including the bid form, drawings and specifications can be obtained from Emanuelson-Podas Inc., 952-930-0050. Bidding documents are also available for review at the office of Emanuelson-Podas Inc,., 10401 Bren Road East, Minnetonka, MN 55343. Prevailing wages are required on this project.
Bids must be submitted only on the bid form supplied in the Project Manual. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic bids or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to Dakota County in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid The successful bidder is required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond equal to 100% of the total contract amount.
Bids may not be withdrawn within forty-five (45) days after the opening bids. The Dakota County Board of Commissioners will consider award of the project on August 14th, 2012 and reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. Estimated cost for this package is $210,000.
