Sealed bid for Porject 97-18

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received at the Empire Transportation Facility at 2800 160th Street West, Rosemount, MN. until 9:00 AM on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at which time they will be opened and read aloud for the following County project:

Project 97-18 Bridge Replacement – New Bridge No. 19J55 (40 feet of 14’x5’ Precast Concrete Box Culvert) on Akron Avenue ¼ mile south of 270th Street over the north branch of Chub Creek in Castle Rock Township.

Other items of work include mobilization, bridge removal, approach grading, and turf establishment.

It is anticipated that a contract to perform the work will be awarded by resolution of the Dakota County Board of Commissioners at the County Board meeting scheduled for August 14, 2012.

Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or corporate surety bond, made in favor of Dakota County in an amount of at least five (5) percent of the amount bid. The right is reserved to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities therein.
