The Dakota County Board of Commissioners met on June 5, 2012 and took action with respect to the following matters:
Approvals: County Board Meeting Minutes - May 22, 2012. Appointments - Community Corrections Advisory Board (CCAB) member. 2012 National Association of Counties voting delegates. Gifts - Friends of the Pleasant Hill Library - $1,000 for E-books. Robert Trail Library - $1,950 for children’s chairs. Jostens Foundation - $5,000 for summer reading programs. License - Little Log House Pioneer Village - off-site gambling. Resignations - Special Board of Appeal and Equalization and CCAB members. Settlements - Parcels 71, 73, 74, &130 (324): County Project (CP) 23-59. Parcel 165 (324): CP 23-70.
Authorizations: Agreement - United States Commodity Credit Corp. to receive 2012 Federal Farmland Protection funds. Closed Executive Sessions - Billmeyer, et. al. v. Dakota County. Purchasing Lindberg & Grannis permanent natural area conservation easements. Contracts - Springsted, Inc. for financial disclosure services. Electrical Installation/Maintenance Co. for CP 9-51, 31-73 & 43-36. Independent School District 196 for resource officer services. Joint Powers Agreement - City of Eagan for bikeway trails, CP 97-121 & 97-122. Penalty - Gopher Hills Golf Course for sale of alcohol to a minor. Ryan Timm appeared to represent Gopher Hills. Purchases - Seven police sedans. Scheduled - Jurisdictional transfer of County Road 87, Nininger Township public hearing, July 9, 2012, 7 p.m., Nininger Town Hall.
