Section 3AA Track and Field: Irish qualify eight events for state

The Rosemount boys and girls track teams combined to qualify eight events for next weekend's Class 2A State Meet at yesterday's Section 3AA Championships at the University of St. Thomas.
The Irish girls will send four athletes to Hamline University in six events. Freshman Rachel Schow will compete in the 100 hurdles and 200-meter dash and senior Natalie Busher in the high jump and triple jump.
Katie Duff qualified for state in the discus and Madeline Phillips advanced in the 300 hurdles.
The Irish boys qualified two events, the 4x200 and Chandler Dye in the 1,600.
