The Dakota County Board of Commissioners met on March 13, 2012 and took action with respect to the following matters:
Approvals: County Board Meeting Minutes - February 28, 2012. Appointment - Dakota-Scott Workforce Investment Board member. Gifts - Janice & Paul Anderson - $593.21 for New Chance program in memory of their daughter, Marina. Allina Abbott Northwestern Foundation - $10,000, Allina United Hospital Birth Center - $10,000, and Fairview Ridges Hospital - $1,000 for Metro Alliance for Healthy Families. License - Valek Auctions - Assemblage of Large Numbers of People. Plat - Prestwick Place 3rd Addition, Rosemount. Project - Acquisition of right of way for County Project (CP) 32-74, Burnsville. Request - Review of TIF District No. 14, Apple Valley.
Authorizations: Agreement - City of South St. Paul for CP 14-25. Community Development Agency - Administer MN Department of Employment and Economic Development funds on behalf of the County. Contract Amendment - Integra Realty Resources for CP 5-41. Joint Powers Agreements - State of MN for various state purchasing contracts. City of Lakeville for CP 50-17 and 60-21. Cities of Mendota Heights, Lakeville, Burnsville and Farmington for one-day waste collection events.
Information Items: Reports - 2011 Gift Acceptance Report and Legislative Update. The next regular Dakota County Board meeting will be held March 27, 2012, at 9:00 a.m.
