Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received at the Empire Transportation Facility at 2800 160th Street West, Rosemount, MN. 55068-1628 until 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday April 3, 2012 at which time they will be opened and read aloud for the following County project:

•Sale and application of liquid magnesium chloride on various aggregate roads in Dakota County

It is anticipated that a contract to perform the work will be awarded by resolution of the Dakota County Board of Commissioners at the County Board meeting scheduled for April 24, 2012.

Paper documents are also available weekdays between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM at the County Engineer’s Office, (952-891-7100) 14955 Galaxie Avenue, Apple Valley, MN 55124 for a cost of $10 if picked up or $15 if mailed.

Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or corporate surety bond, made in favor of Dakota County in an amount of at least five (5) percent of the amount bid. The right is reserved to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities therein.
