Rosemount students have been honored by colleges and universities
Concordia College dean’s list
Several Rosemount area students have been named to the dean’s list at Concordia College in Moorhead.Students on the list have earned a grade point average of 3.7 or better on a 4.0 scale. Local students on the list include senior Emily Kimball, sophomore Michael?Brossart, senior Bradley Peterson and senior Jamie Levine.
Suzanne Sciamanda
Suzanne Sciamanda of Rosemount has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at St. Catherine University in St. Paul. Sciamanda is a first-year student at St. Kate’s. She is the daughter of Christine and Rob Sciamanda.
Abbie Bauernfeind
Abbie Bauernfeind, a 2010 Rosemount High School graduate, was named to the first semester, 2011-12 dean's list at St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. The list includes 354 undergraduate students who earned a grade point average of 3.60 or better on a 4.0 scale. Abbie is the daughter of Steve and Nancy Bauernfeind of Rosemount.
MSU, Mankato graduates
Minnesota State University, Mankato held its summer/fall commencement ceremony in December. Rosemount students to earn degrees include Cole Bangerter, bachelor of science, law enforcement, summa cum laude; Corey Hiben, bachelor of science, physical education (non-teaching); Brittney Leary, bachelor of science, nursing, magna cum laude; Adedayo Ologunde, bachelor of science, computer science; Barbara Peterson, master of science, special education, emotional behavior disorders; Stephanie Rodenbeck, bachelor of science, social studies and education, magna cum laude; Kimberly Spearman, bachelor of science, Nursing, summa cum laude; Richard Tix, bachelor of science, marketing; Sean Tompkins, bachelor of science, Social Studies and Education; and Jennifer Wagner, bachelor of science, open studies.
