The Rosemount City Council re-appointed four people to its advisory committees Tuesday. Kyle Irving and Vanessa Demuth will serve again on the planning commission; Shawn Mulhern on the utilities commission; and Jason Eisold on parks and recreation.

The city council interviewed 10 people for the four open commission spots on Feb. 6. In the end they decided to stick with veteran members of the commissions.

Several of the appointees hold leadership positions on their respective commissions, including Irving, who serves as the vice chair; Eisold, who serves as the vice chair of the parks commission and Mulhern, who serves as the president of the utility commission.

All will serve three year terms. Their new terms will begin April 1 and end March 31, 2015. Members of the city’s commission help provide insight on various city issues. Commissioners receive a $35 stipend for each regular meeting they attend.
