TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Planning Commission of the City of Rosemount will hold a Public Hearing to consider the item listed below on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 2875 145th Street West, Rosemount, Minnesota, beginning at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible. The Public Hearing pertains to a text amendment to Ordinance B, the Zoning Ordinance updating the following sections:

11-4-1: AG – Agricultural District

11-4-2: AG-P Agricultural Preserve District

11-4-3: RR – Rural Residential District

11-4-5: R-1- Low Density Residential District

11-4-6: R-1A – Low Density Residential District

11-4-7: R-2 – Moderate Density Residential District

11-4-8: R-3 – Medium Density Residential District

11-4-9: R-4 – High Density Residential District

11-8-4.E: Dynamic Signs

The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comment on the proposed Zoning Ordinance Text Amendment to the sections noted above relating to public and institutional use (churches, schools, parks, community gardens and the like).

Persons wishing to speak on this issue are invited to attend and be heard at this scheduled public hearing. Formal written comments will also be accepted prior to the meeting dates. Please forward all written comments and/or inquiries to the Planning Department of the City of Rosemount or call 651-322-2051.
