PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given of the Dakota County Board of Commissioners’ intent to receive comments on an amendment to the Dakota County Comprehensive Plan.
The Dakota County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in the County Board Room, Dakota County Administration Center, 1590 Highway 55, Hastings, Minnesota, for the purpose of receiving comments on the Dakota County Comprehensive Plan. Specifically, the County is proposing to add a regional trail search corridor in the area of Chub Lake to the Park System chapter of the Comprehensive Plan. The proposed segment of regional trail would connect Dakota County residents to the Scott County regional trail system and the following Scott County regional parks: Cedar Lake Farm, Doyle-Kennefick, and Blakely Bluffs. Interested persons attending the public hearing shall have the right to provide written or oral comments. Written comments may be addressed to the Dakota County Office of Planning and Analysis, 14955 Galaxie Avenue, Apple Valley, Minnesota, Attn: Kurt Chatfield.
