Wrestling: Wrestlers third at Eastview InviteSteve Levine and Adam Jackson each won weight divisions for the Irish

Nine wrestlers placed in the top four in their respective weight classes as Rosemount came away from Saturday’s Eastview Invite with a third-place finish.
The Irish tallied 186 points, 10 off the pace of runner-up Scott West and 24 behind tournament champion Shakopee. The Sabers won just two weight classes, but placed third in four and fourth in three others.
Steve Levine and Adam Jackson each posted 4-0 records while winning divisions for Rosemount. Levine marched through the 126-pound bracket with four straight pins, while Jackson won at 152 pounds with three pins and an 11-3 decision in the finals.
Dan Rosa added a second-place finish at 113 pounds and Sam Moeller was runner up at 170 pounds. Sebastian Paradise was third at 195 pounds and Payton Otterdahl placed third at 220.
The Irish got a trio of third-place showings from Adam Hedin at 120, Pat Massey at 160 and Alex Johnson at 182.
Grant Jackson was fifth at 132 and heavyweight Stefan Sauer placed sixth.
The Irish are back in action tomorrow night when they host Wayzata for a non-conference dual at Irish Gym.
