He was born at Regina Medical Center in Hastings.At birth, James weighed 7 pounds, 12.3 ounces and was 21 inches long.
He is joined at home by his parents and brother, Cass C.Smith, Jr.
Grandparents are Cindy Pratt of Hastings and Marilyn Charleston of St.Paul.
