Rosemount slipped to 3-11 overall and 0-7 in the South Suburban Conference after a pair of league setbacks last week.
The Irish were on the short end of a 5-1 contest at Lakeville North last Thursday. They returned home for a matchup against Apple Valley on Saturday and were dealt a 4-2 loss at Rosemount Community Center.
North surged to a 3-0 lead on Thursday before Trevor Kolden got Rosemount on the board with a short-handed goal (assist to Tyler Frank) at the 14:54 mark of the second period.
The Panthers added to their lead by putting two shots past Irish goaltender Tom Fraune in the third. Fraune finished with 35 saves as North posted a 40-20 advantage in shots on goal.
No statistics were available for Saturday’s game against Apple Valley.
The Irish travel to Bloomington to take on Bloomington Kennedy tonight. They then face three straight ranked conference opponents — No. 9 Burnsville, No. 15 Lakeville South and No. 4 Eagan — before closing out the January schedule with a home game against Cottage Grove Jan. 31.
