Girls hockey: Irish fall to Jefferson, 6-2

The Rosemount girls hockey team slipped to 5-10-2 overall and 2-5-2 in the South Suburban Conference after a 6-2 loss to Bloomington Jefferson last Tuesday at Rosemount Community Center.
Rosemount took on 15th-ranked Lakeville North Tuesday night in a rematch of the championship game of the Louis Schmitz Holiday Classic, a contest the Panthers won 2-0 on Dec. 29. The Irish are back home tonight when they host Prior Lake.
