Police find evidence of drug dealing in a Rosemount home

If Jonathan Tichich is a drug dealer, as the Dakota County Attorney’s office claims he is, it appears he is a very organized drug dealer.

When Richfield police and members of the Dakota County Drug Task Force searched Tichich’s Rosemount home on June 1 they found nearly $19,000 in cash, a shotgun and marijuana, among other items. According to a complaint filed last week in the Dakota County Attorney’s office the cash police found smelled strongly of marijuana.

Police also found an inventory and receipt system that detailed inventory on hand as well as dates, times and amounts of sales. Some of the sales listed were for more than $10,000.

The 25-year-old Tichich now faces a felony controlled substance charge. If convicted he could face up to five years in jail and fines of up to $10,000.

A second individual was named in the complaint, but the county attorney’ s office does not have a record of charges against him.
