Public Hearing - Minnova Land LLC - guide plan amendment

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Planning Commission of the City of Rosemount will hold a Public Hearing to consider the item listed below on Tuesday, December 27, 2011, the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 2875 145th Street West, Rosemount, Minnesota, and beginning at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible. The Public Hearing pertains to property owned by Minnova Land LLC located east of Akron Avenue and north of Connemara Trail, legally described as follows:

THE SOUTH 770 FEET OF THE WEST HALF OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 22, TOWNSHIP 115, RANGE 19, DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA.

The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comment on the applications submitted by The Ryland Group, Inc. for a comprehensive guide plan amendment , preliminary plat and planned unit development master development plan with rezoning approval to amend the land use designation for the 23 acre subject property from MDR - Medium Density Residential to LDR - Low Density Residential and rezone the subject property from AGP - Ag Preserve to R1 PUD - Low Density Residential Planned Unit Development to construct approximately 50 single family homes on 60 foot wide lots.

Persons wishing to speak on this issue are invited to attend and be heard at this scheduled public hearing. Formal written comments will also be accepted prior to the meeting dates.
