The Dakota County Board of Commissioners met on November 1, 2011 and took action with respect to the following matters:

Approvals: County Board Meeting Minutes - October 18, 2011. Special assessment for abatement of failing septic system. Appointments - Dakota-Scott Workforce Investment Board members. Grant - MN Department of Public Safety for 2011 Homeland Security Grant. Plan - 2012-2013 Vulnerable Children and Adults Act. Plats - Spirit of Brandtjen Farm 7th Addition, Lakeville and Riverfront View Addition, Lilydale. Settlement - Settle 2005-2009 host fee compliance review for Burnsville Sanitary Landfill.

Authorizations: Agreements – MN Department of Natural Resources for Environment and Natural Resources Trust Funds for protecting and restoring lakeshore and riparian buffers. 2012-2013 MN Family Investment Program Consolidated Fund.

Information Items: County Administrator’s 2012 recommended budget. The next regular Dakota County Board meeting will be held November 15, 2011, at 9:00 a.m.
