Back-to-school events scheduled in Rosemount

District 196 elementary schools, middle schools and high schools have all scheduled back-to-school open houses, orientation sessions and/or information nights that will be held in August and September.

The first day of the 2011-12 school year will be Tuesday, Sept. 6. For more information about these and other back-to-school events and activities, call your child’s school.

Elementary schools

Diamond Path Elementary School of International Studies

• All school open house, 4-6 p.m. Aug. 31.

• Kindergarten orientation, 10-1 a.m. (morning classes), 10 a.m.-noon (Kindergarten Plus) or 1-2 p.m. (afternoon classes) Sept. 6.

• Kindergarten parent information night, 6 p.m. Sept. 19.

• First grade parent information night, 6 p.m. Sept. 20.

• Second grade parent information night, 7:15 p.m. Sept. 19.

• Third grade parent information night, 6 p.m. Sept. 15
