Relay for Life starts Friday at 6 p.m. and there will be a movie in Central Park Saturday night starting at dusk

Relay for Life

The Rosemount Relay for Life will take place from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. June 24 at Irish Stadium.

The event raises money for the American Cancer Society. Anyone interested in getting involved can contact Dawn Michelsen at rflrsmt@gmail.com.

Band at the legion

Rosemount American Legion Post 65 will host the band Rolling Thunder 8 p.m. to midnight June 24.

June 25

Movies in the park

The Rosemount Parks and Recreation Department will show How to Train your Dragon starting at dusk June 25.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy.

A Journey through Africa

Take your child on an African safari to discover its vast diversity from 2:30 to 3:15 p.m. June 25 at Robert Trail Library. Staff from Como Park Zoo will introduce kids to African plants and animals, teach them to count in Swahili and explore folklore that originated there. Open to people of all ages.
