Irish baseball takes No. 9 seed for playoffs
The Rosemount Irish baseball team was named the No. 9 seed in the Class 3A, Section 3 tournament and will open the playoffs on Friday, May 27 at 4:15 p.m. at No. 8 seed Lakeville South.By: Brian Hall, Rosemount Town Pages
The Rosemount Irish baseball team was named the No. 9 seed in the Class 3A, Section 3 tournament and will open the playoffs on Friday, May 27 at 4:15 p.m. at No. 8 seed Lakeville South.
Burnsville earned the No. 1 seed. With a win on Friday, Rosemount would face the Blaze in Burnsville on May 30, at 4:15 p.m.
Eastview is the No. 2 seed.
Lakeville North, the No. 6 seed hosts No. 11 seed Henry Sibley on Friday. Park, the No. 7 seed hosts No. 10 seed Simley in the first round.
The No. 3 seed is St. Thomas Academy, while Apple Valley is the No. 4 seed and Eagan is the No. 5 seed.
