Sendoff dinner planned for soldiers set to deploy
The Rosemount area Yellow Ribbon Committee in conjunction with the Rosemount VFW will hold a sendoff dinner for 55 troops and their families on Thursday April 14 of April.
The Rosemount area Yellow Ribbon Committee in conjunction with the Rosemount VFW will hold a sendoff dinner for 55 troops and their families on Thursday April 14 of April.
The group expects to serve more than 175 troops and their families at this meal. Each family will receive a yellow ribbon donated by a local resident Cecelia Ducote as well as other items from the Yellow Ribbon Committee.
The formal Deployment Ceremony is Scheduled for 1 p.m. on Friday, April 15.
