Wrestler Jackson takes second at state

Rosemount wrestler Adam Jackson finished second to Apple Valley's Destin McCauley at this weekend's state tournament at the Xcel Center.

Rosemount wrestler Adam Jackson finished second to Apple Valley's Destin McCauley at this weekend's state tournament at the Xcel Center.

Jackson, a junior who had a 38-3 record coming into the meet, ran through a string of similarly-named opponents in the tournament's early rounds. He beat beat Willmar's Coty Milhausen 10-7 in the first round, then beat White Bear Lake's Cody Anderson 7-1 and and Cambridge-Isanti's Cody Glines 9-6 before losing by fall in the final match.

Jackson was Rosemount's only representative at the meet.
