Rosemount residents have been honored by colleges and universities

Lynn Robohm, Christian Willman

Lynn Robohm and Christian Willman of Rosemount have been named to the dean’s list at Hamline University for the fall term of the 2010-11 academic year. Members of the dean’s list achieve a grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 scale.

Brett Sheppard

Brett Sheppard of Rosemount is a recipient of the 2010 D.J. Robertson List at the University of North Dakota. The D.J. Robertson Academic Award is presented each fall and spring in recognition of academic excellence by freshman students. These students must achieve a 4.00 grade point average and have completed a minimum of 12 semester hours of traditionally graded coursework.

Bethel University dean’s list

Several Rosemount students have been named to the dean’s list for academic excellence at Bethel University during the 2010 fall semester. The dean’s list honors students who achieve an outstanding scholastic record during a semester with a grade point average of 3.6 or greater. Students on the list and their majors include Rene Kowlessar, elementary education; Kristen Lewerenz, sociocultural studies; Derek Parker, accounting and finance; and Nicholas Pranke, psychology.

MSU, Mankato

The academic honors list from Minnesota State University, Mankato has been released. Rosemount students on the list include Georgette Abercrombie Amanda Anderson, Cole Bangerter, Andrew Burt, Sarah Chapman, Oluwabusola Duroshola, Ben Erickson, Kelsey Magnuson, Zachary Peterson, Eric Pittelkow, Alyssa Rassett Mehl, Stephanie Rodenbeck, Erica Rosendahl, Blake Schwartz, Amanda Swanson, Christine Thomas, Ashley Thurmes, Sean Tompkins, Cody Welsh, and Tanya Wieloch. Students on the list have earned a grade point average of 3.5 to 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.
