Eight Rosemount seniors will take part in the Irish's signing event tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 2, as part of national signing day.
Rosemount will host its winter signing day event at 7 a.m. in the student center at the high school.
Shade Pratt is expected to sign to play soccer at Maryland.
Shane McCallum is expected to sign to compete in track and cross country for Augustana.
Brandt Berghuis and Goaner Deng will be signing letters of intent to compete in track at the collegiate level. Berghuis is expected to sign with North Dakota State, while Deng is headed to the University of Minnesota.
Joe Bjorklund, one of top recruited football players in the state, is expected to sign with the University of Minnesota. Bjorklund is expected to take a grey-shirt, meaning he will begin his college career in 2012 and begin his scholarship next winter.
Mike Lewis, Ryan Link and Andrew Hausmann will also be continuing their football careers at the next level. Lewis is expected to sign to play at Augustana, while Link is looking to sign with the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
Hausmann has been weighing opportunities to play at Ivy League schools. With Harvard and Cornell as options, Hausmann will let his intention be known on Wednesday. Attending and playing at Ivy League schools doesn't include signing an official letter of intent.
