The Irish varsity girls basketball team had a tough obstacle hosting No. 3 ranked Lakeville North. Rosemount took a 67-49 loss to the Panthers. Elaine Warner led the Irish with 16 points. Rachel Hoeppner and Brooke Stevens added 11 points apiece. Hannah Grim scored five points. Meghan Schuster added four and Lindy Parker chipped in with two.
The Rosemount varsity boys hockey team didn't have it any easier hosting No. 8 ranked Burnsville. The Irish lost 5-1. Ryan Anderson scored a power-play goal for Rosemount. Justin Frank made 50 saves in goal as the Irish were outshot 55-12.
