What a bunch of cards

Anyone looking for a good game of cards can usually find one at the Rosemount Area Seniors Do Drop Inn room

Rosemount’s seniors never have a hard time finding a card game. On Mondays, it’s 500 at the Rosemount Community Center. Tuesday, it’s bid euchre. And even if the group playing is not large there’s usually no shortage of laughter.

Tuesday’s bid euchre sessions usually draw enough players for three or four tables, the group playing this week said. But with some people gone at appointments and others gone south for the winter there were only six there this week. Monday’s 500 game usually draws enough players for six tables or more. That’s when things really get rowdy.

The Rosemount Area Seniors will hold a 500 tournament at 7 p.m. Friday at the Do Drop Inn room at the Rosemount Community Center.
