Bjorklund named to all-state football team, Erdmann is top coach

Rosemount senior offensive lineman Joe Bjorklund was named to the Minnesota Vikings annual all-state football team, while Irish coach Jeff Erdmann was honored as the 2010 coach of the year.
Bjorklund providing blocking for a Rosemount offense that averaged 30.7 points per game this season and was one of the top rushing offenses in Class 5A. Erdmann oversaw a team that finished 12-1.
The Irish advanced to the Class 5A state title game this year before taking a 31-14 loss against top-ranked Wayzata. It was the school's first trip to a championship game since Rosemount won the 2A title in 1981.
