State football semifinals tickets on sale now

Tickets for the Rosemount football team's Class 5A state semifinal game at the Metrodome on Friday, Nov. 19 are now on sale at the school.

The Irish beat Lakeville South in the first round of the state tournament last week and will face Brainerd in the semifinals on Friday. Game time is se tfor 8:15 p.m., but the Minnesota State High School League warns that games could start as much as 45 minutes earlier depending on the previous five games that day.

The five-time state championship Rosemount marching band will also be in attendance in the stands providing music, and the Irishette dance team will be performing at half time.

Ticket sales will be conducted Monday through Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. in the main office. The cost of tickets is $12 for adults and $8 for students.

In addition, tickets will be sold in the lunchroom during all lunch periods Monday through Wednesday. Bus tickets for the student body are also available. The cost of the bus ticket is $5.

For this Friday, Rosemount coach Jeff Erdmann is asking that all Rosemount fans wear navy blue shirts to the game.
