Irish girls tennis team wraps up 4th in conference

The Rosemount varsity girls tennis team wrapped up fourth place in the South Suburban Conference with a 7-0 victory against Apple Valley on Wednesday.
The Irish finish the regular season with a match at Eden Prairie today.
Against Apple Valley, Virginia Norder, Ally Baker, Kirsten Hoffman and Mariah McGivern won in singles play.
Makayla Newberry and Layna Mestad won at No. 1 doubles. Heather Castner and Megan Harrington won at second doubles. Sherry Gao and Emily Harrington won at No. 3 doubles.
Rachel Olson won an exhibition match.
