UMD dean’s list

The University of Minnesota Duluth has announced its dean’s list for spring semester 2010. Students on the list have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Rosemount students on the list include Carolyn L. Aebi, Eric T. Beltz, Cassandra L. Geckler, Alaina C. Johnson, Daniel J. Lawrence, Alyssa K. Rosenow, Adam J. Sommers, Kyle J. Strese and Meredith M. Vandewege.

Tracy Stahl

The Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical Foundation recently announced that Tracy Stahl of Rosemount has received the Clarence and Mildred Skaar Memorial Scholarship. Tracy is a nusing motiblity student in Red Wing. The scholarship is for the fall 2010 semester.

MSU, M honors lists

The academic high honor and honor lists for the past spring semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato have been announced. Students qualified for the high honor list by achieving a 4.0 average, while students who earned a 3.5 to 3.99 average to qualify for the honor list. Rosemount students who were on the honors list include Georgette Abercrombie, Sarah Chapman, Jennifer Gnerer, Kersten Harp, Courtney Magnuson, Kelsey Magnuson, Nikolaus Novotny, Zachary Peterson, Jennifer Schiltz, Blake Schwartz, Nicole Seeberg, Eugene Sturm, Kevin Tapper, Sarah Thorson, Richard Tix, Cassandra Wenzel, Kayla Wettstein and Tanya Wieloch. Students with high honors are Cole Bangerter, Fahmida Hassan, Kiley Nuernberg, Eric Pittelkow, Erica Rosendahl, Amanda Swanson, Ashley Thurmes, and Jennifer Wagner.

Highmark, Rachel M. Kirkland, Katlyn E. Knutson, Shishira Kothur, Alyssa N. Kroeten, Thompson T. Maesaka, Titus S. Mathew, Angela M. Miller, Leah M. Miller, Andrew G. Myers, Aaron M. Newman, Rachel L. Rudy, Nehaw Sarmey, Samuel J. Schmitz, Craig A. Schwanke, Erin N. Strom, Jacob L. Szymanski, Eric M. Wangongu, Sarah K. Wiinamaki and Christina M. Zillhart. Students on the list all achieved a grade point average of 3.66 or higher.

UW-Stout

chancellor’s award

Several Rosemount students received the chancellor’s award for the spring 2010 semester at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. The award is presented to students who have a grade point average of 3.5 or above. Students include Christopher Baker, Shauna Baska, Lesley Decker, Patrick Kavanagh, Nathan Larson, Katelynn Selig, Samantha Skluzacek and JoAnn Starkman.

Jessica Kulawczyk

Jessica Kulawczyk of Rosemount graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire at the conclusion of the 2010 summer session. She earned her degree in health care administration.
