Your weekend: Relay for Life fund raiser starts Friday night
This weekend will start with a lot of walking for many Rosemount residents. The Relay for Life fund raiser for the America Cancer Society kicks things off Friday night, and the weekend continues with puppet shows, an appearance by Bruce the Bug Guy and more.
June 25
Relay for Life
The Relay for Life of Rosemount will go from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. June 25 at Irish Stadium.
The Relay for Life raises money for the American Cancer Society.
Puppets
in the park
Come join the Rosemount Puppet Wagon as they bring laughter and fun into your summer days in the parks. Gather friends and family and enjoy the entertaining and educational puppet shows all summer long. New plays are performed each week, so plan on spending Friday mornings in the parks at this free community event.
The wagon will be at the following parks at the following times: Camfield Park, 9:30 a.m.; Connemara Park, 10:15 a.m.; Bloomfield Park, 11:00 a.m. and Jaycee Park 11:45 a.m.

bug guy
Meet Bruce the Bug Guy and his creepy friends at 10:30 a.m. June 26 at Robert Trail Library. Learn about and even touch some unusual insects.
June 27
Scott Jasmin at Lighthouse
Scott Jasmin will help lead worship at 6 p.m. June 27th . This gathering of music will be recorded for Scott's next CD. Come be a part of a great night.
Scott will also lead worship on Sunday morning, June 27th.
