Local Edward Jones financial advisor Jamie Koronkiewicz will host a discussion covering the current U.S. deficit crisis and what it means for investors at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Thursday, May 27 at 14450 So Robert Trail, Suite 206 in Rosemount. Coffee with a cop
Rosemount residents can have coffee and a conversation with a member of the Rosemount Police Department from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. May 27 at Starbucks, 14903 South Robert Trail.
A Rosemount police ofifcer is available every Thursday to meet for informal conversation with residents. The location of the meetings rotates among local coffee shops and restaurants.
Sing, play learn
Music specialists from the McPhail Center for Music will be on hand at 10:30 a.m. May 29 at the Robert Trail Library to help kids ages 2 to 8 explore and play with music. Registration is required.

There will be a Memorial Day program starting at 8:45 a.m. May 31 at Rosemount’s Central Park. The event will feature a performance by the Velvet Tones senior choir and an address by Iraq veteran Toby Stalder. There will be cemetery visits at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 10:15 at Rosemount Cemetery, 10:30 at Lebanon Cemetery, 10:45 at Rich Valley Cemetery and 11:05 at Pine Bend Cemetery.
Memorial Day ceremonies are hosted by VFW Post 9433, American Legion Unit 65 and Vietnam Veterans of America, Dakota County Chapter.
