Last week’s Lake Conference Relays were the latest test for the Rosemount boys track and field team.
The Irish liked how they stood up against the competition in the relay-style event at the University of Minnesota’s Bierman field.
Rosemount finished second with 146 points. Eden Prairie won the team title with 164 points.
“This meet is always a great test for us to see where we’re at relatively early in the season,” coach Jay Hatleli said. “Despite the second place finish to Eden Prairie, we like our team right now. Our team leaders are setting the example, and other guys are stepping into their roles nicely.”
The Irish won the 3x110-meter hurdles, 800, 1,600, 4x400, 4x800, 3x300 hurdles, and the shot put events.
