Your weekend: Spring egg hunt Saturday
Looking for something to do this weekend in Rosemount? Here are a few things going on around town.
March 26
Kids and parents book club
The Robert Trail Library will host a one day book club for kids and parent at 3 p.m. March 26.
Share the love of reading with your child by joining the book club designed especially for kids and their parents. Check the library for the book selection. Registration required.
The library is located at 14395 S. Robert Tr. To register call 651-423-1200.
KC fish fry
The Knights of Columbus will host a fish fry at 6 p.m. March 26 at St. Joseph Social Hall. A free will offering will be taken.
March 27
Spring egg hunt
The city of Rosemount will host its annual Spring Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. March 27 at the Ames Soccer Complex located at Dakota County Technical College.
Children will be divided by age to hunt for the many hidden treats. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Bring a basket or bag to hold treats. A bunny will be visiting, so bring your cameras. The event is sponsored by the Rosemount Lions Club.
Pancake

The Rosemount High School boys soccer team will host a pancake breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. March 27 at Applebee’s Restaurant, 15015 Cimarron Ave.
Waggin’ Tales
Read to a therapy dog at Robert Trail Library from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. March 27.
Bring your kids into the library to read to certified therapy dogs. Reading to the dogs helps with reading and fluency. Appropriate for kids ages 5 to 10.
Coyote tales
The Robert Trail Library will host Coyote Tales from 2 to 3:15 p.m. March 27.
In the Heart of the Beast Theater presents Nimisee the clown, telling tales of the lovable but often foolish character, Coyote. All ages can participate.
