Gerald Weisjahn

Gerald D. Weisjahn, age 68, of Rosemount, passed away on Dec. 24, 2009.

Gerald was born on July 7, 1941, in Owatonna, Minn., to Mardolf and Gladys (Quam) Weisjahn. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Gerald was a member of the US Marine Corps and was a Mason.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Edna (Sprute) Weisjahn; children, David (Betty) and Todd (Leah); grandchildren, Megan, Natalie, Nicole, Noah and Luke; great-granddaughter, Madison; sister, Diana (John) Kroska; brothers, Richard and Greg (Mary) Weisjahn; many other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Rd., Apple Valley, with visitation 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 1 hour prior to the service, all at the church. Interment Corinthian Cemetery, Farmington, Minn.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be donated to Shepherd of the Valley organ fund or the Masonic Lodge of Farmington.
