Girls soccer season ends in section semifinals

The breakthrough season for the Rosemount varsity girls soccer team ended on Monday night with a 4-2 loss in the Class 2A, Section 3 semifinals.
In a rematch against Lake Conference opponent, and rival, Eastview, the Irish lost 4-2 at Eastview, ending their season.
Rosemount had lost 2-0 to Eastview earlier this season.
The Irish end the season with a 12-7-1 overall record, and were 6-5 in the Lake Conference, placing in the middle of the standings.
Rosemount had opened the playoffs with a 3-0 win against Hastings last week.
