City of Coates
The City Council of the City of Coates adopted the City of Coates 2030 Comprehensive Plan on August 10, 2009 and approved this summary for publication. The City of Coates 2030 Comprehensive Plan is an update of the City of Coates Comprehensive Plan, adopted in 2000, and includes several sections, which are summarized as follows:
SECTION 1 INTRODUCTION. This section identifies the purpose of the plan and the planning process, including public participation.
SECTION 2 BACKGROUND CONDITIONS. This section includes history, demographics, and descriptions of existing City land use, public facilities, natural resources, and transportation.
SECTION 3 2030 LAND USE PLAN. This section identifies City goals and policies, growth forecasts, and planning for future land use, public facilities, natural resources, and transportation.
SECTION 4 IMPLEMENTATION. This section identifies official controls to implement the plan, capital improvements, and the process to amend the plan.
