Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received at the County Treasurer-Auditor’s Office at 1590 Highway 55, Hastings, MN until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at which time they will be opened and read aloud for the following County projects:
CP 5-44 Mill and Overlay and Pave Shoulders on CSAH 5 from Scott County Line to 215th Street in Lakeville.
CP 28-41 Concrete Island Revisions at CSAH 28 and CSAH 31 in Eagan.
CP 28-46 Mill and Overlay on CSAH 28 from Interstate 35E to CSAH 43 in Eagan.
CP 30-17 Mill and Overlay on CSAH 30 from Heine Strasse Road to CSAH 43 in Eagan.
CP 32-66 Mill and Overlay on CSAH 32 from Nicollet Avenue to West River Hills Drive in Burnsville.
CP 38-41 Mill and Overlay on CSAH 38 from Johnny Cake Ridge Road to CSAH 31 in Apple Valley.
CP 38-42 Mill and Overlay on CSAH 38 from CSAH 31 to TH 3 in Apple Valley and Rosemount.
CP 42-112 Mill and Overlay on CSAH 42 from Idell Avenue to CR 87 in Nininger Township.
CP 46-35 Mill and Overlay on CSAH 46 from Interstate 35 to Ipava Avenue in Lakeville.

CP 54-08 Mill and Overlay and Pave Shoulders on CSAH 54 from 185th Street to CSAH 68 in Ravenna Township.
CP 70-17 Mill and Overlay and Pave Shoulders on CSAH 70 from Scott County Line to Laredo Path in Lakeville.
CP 73-22 Mill and Overlay and Pave Shoulders on CSAH 73 from CSAH 26 to Interstate 494 in Inver Grove Heights.
CP 91-15 Mill and Overlay and Pave Shoulders on CSAH 91 from TH 316 to CSAH 54 in Marshan Township and Hastings.
CP 97-88 Pedestrian Curb Ramp modifications at various intersections in Apple Valley, Burnsville, Eagan and Inver Grove Heights.
All projects in this letting notice are tied. Major quantities of work include approximately 445,000 Square Yards of Bituminous Milling, 61,000 Tons of Bituminous Mixture, 88 NMC Loop Detectors, and 150 Pedestrian Curb Ramps.
Bidders will be required to submit information indicating they have practical experience with the construction work bid upon and they have the ability and resources to complete the proposed work in a manner satisfactory to Dakota County. A contract award will only be made to a Bidder meeting the minimum contractor qualifications as stated within the contract specifications. It is anticipated that a contract to perform the work will be awarded by resolution of the Dakota County Board of Commissioners at their meeting scheduled for April 7, 2009.

Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or corporate surety bond, made in favor of Dakota County in an amount of at least five (5) percent of the amount bid. The right is reserved to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities therein.
