Letter: Crowded field means people are unhappy

To the editor,

The reason for all of the candidates, you ask?

People are sick of the mayor and the present city council. They sat by long enough and plan on fixing the constant goof ups of this council and mayor. I know for a fact that if there were more seats open there would be more of a change than is already going to happen. Out with the old junk. Time to get our city back. Vote for a longtime resident, not someone that came into this town and have and will continue to bring bad ideas.

The old town had more to offer than the present one does.What have they done? Put in a library that if you look at studies done around the country are on a huge decline due to the Internet and such. So I ask you to take a look at our candidates. See where they live and how their constant goof ups have affected their lives instead of the rest of our lives. Do yourself a favor and ask an old time resident or old time business owner. If you can find one that the mayor or council hasn’t already virtually run out of town. Please just listen to or read about the up and coming candidates.
