TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Planning Commission of the City of Rosemount will hold a Public Hearing to consider the item listed below on Tuesday, August 26, 2008, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 2875 145th Street West, Rosemount, Minnesota, and beginning at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible. The Public Hearing pertains to property owned by Flint Hills Resources, L.P., located south of 135th Street, east of Akron Avenue and west of Blaine Avenue, described as follows:

W1/2, SE1/4 & E1/2, SW1/4, except the W 300 feet of the N 725 feet of the NE1/4, SW1/4, Section 23, Township 115 North, Range 19 West., Dakota County, Minnesota, containing 155.38 acres, more or less.

The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comment on applications submitted by Compost Partners, LLC, for an interim use permit, zoning ordinance text amendment and mineral extraction permit to develop a compost production site.

Persons wishing to speak on this issue are invited to attend and be heard at this scheduled public hearing. Formal written comments will also be accepted prior to the meeting dates.
