February 12

Teens can talk to a cop at library

Rosemount police officer Beth Richtsmeier will speak with teens from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 12. She will be available to answer any general questions teens have about her job and would like to discuss books with teens. She is reading Shifted by Jennifer Bradbury, and Stealing Heaven by Elizabeth Scott. Teens are welcome to come and discuss anything they are reading.

Teen night

Rosemount youth in grades 6 though 8 who attend school in Rosemount or live within Rosemount City boundaries are invited to attend the monthly-supervised teen nights at the Rosemount Community Center. Teen Night is a safe environment where youth can socialize and interact with each other in a positive way. Activities include music, games and open gym.

Every participant must have a parent authorization/emergency contact form on file in order to attend Teen Night. A new form must be completed each school year.

Teen night will be held from 6:30 to 9 p..m. Feb. 12 at the Rosemount Community Center.

February 13

Minnesota Mosaic

The Robert Trail Library will host an event from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 13 about Yiddish and Jewish folklore. Join storyteller Carla Vogel and Klezmer musician Judith Eisner for a lively afternoon of music, stories and dance for all ages.
