Tyrone Charles Yule, 71
After a valiant battle with cancer, Tyrone went to heaven on June 14, at his residence in Sun City, Arizona.
Tyrone was born on Nov. 27, 1942, in Faribault, the son of Roger and Gladys. Tyrone had nine siblings, Patricia, Marvin, Willis, JoAnne, Stanley, Franklin, Priscilla, Phyllis and Dennis.
Tyrone trained in the U.S. Navy as a radar technician. He proudly served aboard the USS Ranger, which served as a platform for planes and missions into Vietnam. When he returned stateside from the Navy, he was employed by GEEIA as a radar repairman for 7 years. The rest of his career he spent working for the FAA in Farmington.
Tyrone married Sandra Plaisance, and together they had three children. Sharon Olson, of Cannon Falls, Theresa Greenwaldt of Glendale, Arizona, and Chris (Ann) of Lakeville. His beloved grandchildren include Amanda, Blake, Sydney, Shelby, Riley, Max, and a great-grandson, Tanner.
Ty enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, boating, fishing, golf, traveling cross country with his brother, Franklin, on their motorcycles, and watching hockey. In his youth, he loved to coach and referee hockey.
Please join us in celebrating Tyrone's life at Spirit of Joy Church in Lakeville at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 12, followed by a luncheon.
