Swimming: No. 6 Irish second at Marauder Invite

Sixth-ranked (Class 2A) Rosemount finished second behind third-ranked Minnetonka in a battle of top-10 teams last Saturday at the 10-team Marauder Invite in St. Paul.


The Irish claimed two of the meet's first three events, starting with Megan Wenman's winning swim in the 200 freestyle. Her 1:58.97 clocking was a meet record.

Olivia Johnston followed with a first-place finish in the 200 individual medley. Johnston added a second-place finish in the 100 breaststroke.
