The Dakota County Board of Commissioners met on March 25, 2014 and took action with respect to the following matters:
Approvals/Authorizations: County Board Meeting Minutes – March 11, 2014. Public Hearings and Classification of Tax-Forfeited Properties and Amendments to Dakota County Ordinance No. 101. Application for Assemblage of Large Numbers of People License for This Old Horse, Inc. and Assemblage of Large Numbers of People for Valek Auctions. Plat for Rosemount School District Second Addition. Eliminate License Restrictions on Geospatial Data and Update Office of GIS Fees. Cooperative Agreement with Metropolitan Airports Commission for Use of MAC Property. Submit 2014-2018 Community Health Priorities to MN Department of Health. Purchase Commercial Property Insurance. Purchase Microsoft enterprise Client Access Licenses. Participate in 2014-15 State Road Salt Contract Process. Amend Budget for Purchase of Additional Salt Materials. Submit Two Proposals to Legislative-Citizen Commission. Amend Petition in District Court File No. 19HA-CV-13 to Exclude Parcel No. 4 from Land Acquisition. Execution of Veterans Operation Enhancement Grant. Contract Extension for Business Analyst to Support Real Estate and Finance Systems, Contracts for Statewide Health Improvement Program, Ayres Associates for Byllesby Dam Analysis, Derau Construction, LLC for Western Service Center and with Parkos Construction Company for Farmington Library Entrance. Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) with City of Mendota Heights for North Urban Regional Trail and JPA with Cities of Eagan, Lakeville, Mendota Heights and South St. Paul for Sidewalk and Trail Projects. Amend 2014 Dakota County Transportation Capital Improvement Program. Support Legislative Positions of Association of MN Counties, MN Inter-County Assoc., Counties Transit Improvement Board and Solid Waste Management Coordinating Board. Proclamation of Public Health Week. Direction on Paving 170th and Station Trail. Appointment to Human Services Advisory Committee. Closed Executive Session: County of Dakota V. Louis Gramsey, et. al. Partial Settlement of County of Dakota V. Louis Gramsey, et. al.
