The Center for Mission promotes and coordinates the global mission outreach for the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis by building bridges of cooperation and communion between communities in the Twin Cities and those overseas. Adult and childhood education in parishes and schools are among the many activities of the Center for Mission.
To enhance and animate mission education in the schools and parishes, the Center for Mission conducts an annual contest for kids and teachers to submit essays and pictures that respond to a specific theme in order to help provide a foundation for a Catholic mission perspective -- participation in God's mission of bringing love and dignity to others throughout the world.
