Splash pad plan takes shape in Central Park

The city of Rosemount is closing in on plans to give kids a new place to splash and play in Central Park.

At a workshop meeting Monday city council members settled on a spot toward the back of the downtown park for the new play area, which uses spray nozzles and other features to let kids play in the water without the costs and other concerns that come with building a pool.
