A sendoff for students who will serve
Rosemount High School held its second annual military recognition ceremony May 11 to pay tribute to seniors who plan to enter the military after graduation. The school recognized 16 students.
The students will carry on a tradition of military service at Rosemount High School. They will enter the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines as well as the Army National Guard and the Navy and Air Force ROTC programs. Senior Colin Busho received a coveted spot in the United States Air Force Academy, an appointment that comes with a full scholarship.
Wednesday's event also included a tribute to Ben Kopp and Andrew Wilfahrt, two Rosemount High School graduates who have died while serving in Afghanistan.
