Section 3AA cross country: Grim, boys team qualify for state

Rosemount will once again be well-represented at next weekend's Class 2A state cross country meet.

The Irish boys advanced by dominating the team race, winning the Section 3AA championship by placing five runners in the top 17 at Valleywood Golf Course in Apple Valley. The girls team will be represented by Hannah Grim, who qualified for her fourth straight state meet with a ninth-place finish.

Grim was part of two 10th-place state teams before qualifying as an individual the last two years.

Trevor Capra and Sam Ivanecky each finished in the top 10 for the Rosemount boys. Capra clocked in at 15:47 on the 5,000-meter course and six Irish runners came in under 17 minutes.
