Rosemount Middle School team wins Future Cities award
A group of Rosemount Middle School students won an award for best infrastructure for their entry in a Future City competition last month.
Future City tests students' abilities in engineering, science and math. Teams create a 3D model of an imagined city using the computer game Sim City, then research topics such as alternative energy and infrastructure and write a paper about their city. Students are asked to look 150 years into the future.
