Roommate brawl leads to charges
A 52-year-old Rosemount man faces assault and terroristic threat charges after reportedly getting into a fight with his roommate at the group home where he lives.
Eugene Vigo Lufkin reportedly got into a fight with the other individual after the man used the N-word in reference to a character on TV. According to a complaint filed in the Dakota County Attorney's office Lufkin hit the other man several times and threatened to kill him.
According to the complaint Lufkin admitted slapping the other man in the back of the head. He said the man punched him in the face, breaking his glasses.
If convicted on a felony charge of making terroristic threats Lufkin could face up to five years in jail and fines of up to $10,000. A fifth degree assault charge carries a maximum fine of $1,000 and a maximum sentence of 90 days.
